  2. Hello, Lisa.
Can you send me your bank details and I’ll send you a donation? I’m assuming that, although it’s been a long time since my last donation, my Gift Aid declaration still counts but, if not, happy to resubmit.
    Love Victoria xx

  4. Hello Lisa & Stephen

Very sorry that we didn’t make it over to Ross on 11th, I would have
been interested to see your progress but now you have sent news of the
computer delivery on the local news; great stuff, it is very good to see
a little of what you have been able to do.

We are fine and have not been directly affected by the floods in
Monmouth town although we do know some of the individuals and shops who
have been directly affected. If it floods on this hill you will need an
    Ark to escape in.

I will send another small contribution soon and hope we can meet up
    sometime.

PS I see you have given a chemical analyser. I am sure that you are well
aware that these machines usually need regular supplies of reagents and
regular calibration. A friend who was a chemical pathologist worked in
Uganda at a similar time to me and found that some sophisticated
machines were standing idle because these disposable items were not
available. Sorry to state the obvious which I am you know already, I
don’t want to teach you to suck eggs…

    1. Hello both, thank you so much for your messages – we feel so sorry for poor Monmouth, with so many businesses affected just before Christmas. We would have come to the support event on friday but we are working away right now. We really appreciate your comments about the chemical analyser and recognise and understand these risks. As the hospital was very well equipped before the war and this was a specific request from them we are hoping that it will not suffer this fate. We have had feedback from them about the applications they have been using it for, and we have asked one of our local colleagues who liaises regularly with the committee to check up on this too. They know that they can come to us if they get into difficulties so I hope they will! Hope to get together before Christmas….xx
